Welcome the 2007 Jinju Student Delegation to Eugene!  A team of Jinju high school students of six will be visiting Eugene from January 2nd to 21st.

Jinju students who had visited Eugene welcomed the 2005 Delegation in the late night of October 4.  Usually they stay in the school until 10:00 P.M..

The citizens of Eugene, Oregon, U.S.A. and Chinju (Jinju), Kyungnam, Republic of Korea have been enjoying their sister city relationship since 1961.  Eugene is the home of the University of Oregon, Fighting Duck.  Chinju is located 250 miles south from Seoul, a cultural and educational center of western Kyungnam Province and the home of Gyeong Sang National University.  

We invite you to visit here often to learn about our two cities and surrounding communities, and join in our programs.  Click Membership to view and print membership application.

Our Mission is to promote intellectual, social, educational, cultural, and other beneficial exchanges between the cities of Eugene, Oregon, U.S.A. and Chinju (Jinju), Republic of Korea.

We are volunteers from Eugene and surrounding community and affiliated with the Sister Cities International and supported by the City of Eugene through the Eugene Sister City Foundation.
